Reapplying to be a member

In the interest of maintaining the highest standards of Professional Practice, and in fairness to all members who pay their annual membership fee and complete the requirements of the CPD Scheme, if membership is allowed to lapse for whatever reason, membership fees owing for the lapsed time must be paid before a member is permitted to rejoin the Pilates Foundation.

For lapsed membership of up to one year, full annual membership owing for the lapsed time is payable, plus an administrative fee.

No reassessment by the Pilates Foundation is required so long as CPD requirements have been maintained during the lapsed membership year.

For lapsed membership of over one year, two years annual membership fee is payable. This fee will include an administration fee plus a reassessment fee by the Pilates Foundation.

To ensure that teaching skills have been maintained to the highest standard during lapsed membership of over one year, the Pilates Foundation will make a reassessment of each individual case. Lapsed members will be asked to provide evidence of having completed all the requirements of the CPD Scheme during the period of lapsed membership. Failure to do so may result in having to undertake further training and or re-examination before being permitted to rejoin the Pilates Foundation.

Once a lapsed member has been reinstated, the member's details on the Pilates Foundation website will be placed back on at the time of the next website update. The website is updated quarterly so this may mean a three-month wait.
