Why choose a Pilates Foundation teacher?
|
- All trainees have to take at least 50 classes prior to starting their training to make sure they have a basic physical understanding of the technique. The training includes functional anatomy and a comprehensive range of relevant topics, practical application and teaching skills.
- All students are mentored by their trainers and have to complete a period of supervised teaching practice before taking their final exams. Matwork students are supervised for a minimum of 30 hours and Apparatus trainees complete at least 250 hours. They must pass both the theoretical and the practical exams before being able to work with the public unsupervised.
- Our teachers take a 'client centred approach' to make sure exercises are always appropriate for a client's specific needs, thus valuing the client's individuality.
