Already trained but with another pilates organisation?

Our Foundation is an inclusive organization and acknowledges that there are many training courses throughout the world that we admire and respect. It is possible to do further training with the Pilates Foundation if you have trained with another Pilates organization, but first you will need to become a Provisional Member.

Please take a look at our teacher training page. This will allow you to compare your training programme with the Pilates Foundation training requirements. You will then need to contact the Pilates Foundation administrator for an application pack. The pack will contain the following information:

  • Letter of explanation including detail of procedure and charges
  • Provisional application form
  • Outline of syllabus and assessment requirements for Foundation training
  • Conditions of membership
  • Background information about history/ethos of the Pilates Foundation
  • List of Assessors who will determine the suitability of your provisional application
