My first experience of Pilates was during my dance training at Laban Centre London, 1996-99. Through classes with Susanne Lahusen, Peter Curtis and Teresa Kelsey I became aware of the benefits of Pilates and how it could support my dance training.
I am a qualified Pilates Foundation matwork teacher having completed my training with Jessica Moolenaar, Mindful Pilates in 2015.
In my classes I am interested in finding increased awareness of alignment, stability and ease of movement.
My 10+ years experience as a contemporary dance teacher influences my approach to exploring movement and connections through the body.
