Having practiced Pilates for 8 years following a spinal injury in my teenage years, I knew that I wanted to be able to share with others the benefits that Pilates can have on your body, not only through rehab of an injury but throughout everyday life.
I trained with the Pilates Foundation in London, during which I taught matwork classes and began working 1-2-1 with clients and smaller groups. My movement background comes from a childhood of sports, from Netball to Gymnastics I enjoyed anything that meant I wasn’t sitting still!
I believe that the development of deeper body awareness leads to overall health and wellbeing, and that is obtained through self-maintenance of the Pilates method.
