Zoë Elvin teaches apparatus and matwork Pilates in Dulwich.
She seeks to help every client optimise ease of movement, whether recovering from injury or surgery, wanting to refine athletic performance, or simply looking for an improved sense of well-being. With a career spanning contemporary dance and law, she understands the demands of both physically-active and sedentary occupations, and is committed to bringing the benefits of Pilates to clients of all ages and levels of fitness.
Zoë has experience of clients with hip and knee problems (including post-replacement surgery), sacroiliac, slipped disc, scoliosis and other spinal problems, hypermobility, osteoporosis, postnatal issues (e.g. pelvic girdle pain, pelvic floor recovery), cancer recovery, myositis, muscular dystrophy, restless leg syndrome and more general back, neck and shoulder issues. She taught dancers on the postgraduate One Year Programme at Trinity Laban Conservatoire for five years, and works with injured dancers and musicians. Zoë is also certified by the Pink Ribbon Program for breast cancer rehabilitation exercise.
