About Amy

I have over 20 years working experience working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds from 5 star spa to drug & alcohol group, women trying to get out of position to Sony’s IT department & the Scottish Government. The BBC and one2one coaching individuals and small groups.

My passion is to enhance living. My skills are looking at mechanical movements that may be deeply rooted both in mind and body and work towards shifting patterns that prevent change & to find enjoyment of the process.

My background if over 20 years of Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga, Meditation & Pilates.A postgraduate diploma in counselling & in Psychology. Through this experience I have gained a deep understanding of the body mind connection and have developed skills such as patience and listening in the role of the helper & have a strong commitment to my work.

I was lucky enough to train with Ashokanada in Thai Yoga Massage and Vipassana meditation in Thailand in 1991 and with Mary Stewart in London in 1994. These have been core and stable foundations for my work.

I am currently taking abridging course in Pilates equipment with Anne-Marie Zulkshari and on a MA programme at SOAS University of Traditions of Yoga and Meditation from India, Thailand, Tibet and China.

I organise and teach diploma training courses in Thai Yoga Massage and have run diploma’s London, Brighton, Glasgow and Thailand. These are valuable ajustment and hand on skills for already Yoga and Pilates teachers, massage therapist or for those interested in Yoga, Meditation & Mindfulness and personal development as well as adding another string to the bow.

My work has been acknowledged by the media in publications such as The Times, The Sunday Times; Vogue; The Scotsman on Sunday and London’s Time Out, Shape Magazine, Tattler and numerous other heath magazines and BBC Radio.
