About The Workshop
Based on her training as a Bones for Life Movement Intelligence Teacher (Applied Feldenkrais) Claire teaches all of her clients (young and old) to move from their bones - bones are the dynamic architecture of our body. Movement, like other stimulus in life, is information for our body. We want to stimulate the right kind of information to create the right kind of hormonal cascade to support and maintain the integrity of our bones.
Many clients who have been diagnosed with osteoporosis express an innate diminishment of trust in their body, this can be catastrophic and is often felt by teachers who are looking to help. We need creative solutions to support our confidence as teachers, offering our clients movement that feels really good as the regeneration of bone integrity is nurtured as a matter of course. When we are offered ways to align, move and breathe from our bones an inner confidence in our body follows. Posture and movement takes on a whole new expression.
Claire’s descriptive teaching style brings you into your bones in a really imaginative way. She believes that when we are aware, we make better use of. In her proactive approach, she asks you "what does your 85 year old self wish that you had done?"
Delivered in her own unique style you will leave buzzing with ideas of how to approach movement through a new lens with new movement language to inspire your clients.
"Claire is an extraordinary movement teacher. She focuses on natural /
