About The Workshop

If you missed Justin's 2-hour workshop, simply register to purchase a link to the recording. It is available to view until midnight Monday 12th June.

Work can be challenging and at times stressful and when there is increased uncertainty and change these stresses can feel overwhelming. The problem can be that our evolutionary biology sometimes gets in the way. Stress interferes with our key thinking and relational abilities: the ability to manage complex and sometimes even simple tasks, make a good decision, be creative, maintain empathy, and compassion, care for ourselves and communicate effectively.

The good news is that we now know that we can grow our resilience to cope with these tough times. Resilience skills techniques and practices can be learnt in order to help us prepare, adapt and recover from the day-to-day challenges of life.

The 2-hour workshop will cover:

- What Resilience is, and what it isn’t!

- Reading your own “Resilience Dashboard”
- Becoming your own (and others) “Resilience pharmacist” in identifying solutions that help and ditching those that don’t!
- Recognising limiting thought patterns and developing good thinking skills
- Understanding the evolution of emotions
- Stress and distress to drive and thrive: What practises support
- Empathy and communication, moving from conflict to connection and collaboration
- Developing growth mindset by fostering the science of self-compassion
- Physiological recovery moments: Building your Resilience toolkit

The Centre for Resilience has provided consultation and run workshops and trainings for Microsoft, Gloucester Police, The NHS including Guys and St Thomas Doctor leadership program, Ofcom, Rail delivery group and many more.

Please note - once payment is received a link to the recording will be emailed to you within 24 hours.
